Oh wait. That's disgusting. Sorry.

So Moffet would flippin rock! Central for almost everyone (Southbay residents could lap the Bay once to keep it fair) and a nice location. Sweeeeeet.

We should do a small Hollister off-road meet sometime... Woot?

I like the Moffett field idea, it's a retired air base, probably a lot of room for us to work with, and we can set up an auto-x course, maybe even 2 or 3. Although you probably have to go through the same steps as you would for getting Alameda point (both were air bases), which will probably run the club some money.

Well I would be taking the Justy to an offroad excursion, and that car was built and geared for a time of a 55mph speed limit which it does well. Going 80mph makes me feel like the engine is gonna ah-splode. I need rocket boosters for freeway travel. Actually as cheap as the motors are - I would love a rebuild w/ a lighter rotating assembly, some mild headwork and better valvetrain - that would make it higher-speed compatable. With the R32 though the only way to stay below 80mph is to use the cruise and keep my feet AWAY from the loud pedal.

LOL

Moffet? we'll get hair-assed for sure there...they dont even let you skate down the parking garages at midnight...pshhh go figure

Hollister is teh suxor...unless you have a dirtbike or 4x4! i crawled my RS up a green circle trail heading up to the "4x4 playground"...lets just say im happy the previous owner bought a rallyarmor skidplate.

but there are some turns we could session but im pretty sure the ranger would tell us to stop if not right us up...theyre strict about speed in there, unless youre in the open dirt lot playground...which isnt smooth.

moffet is the last place that would allow an autoX i think. And they have 2 active hangers from what i know...the green planes flying over hwy 85 all day long land at moffet...along with teh air forse 1ne

planes land there everyday for training

not to mention the whole place is gated with guards last time i saw it a year or two ago.

Step on gas, car gets loud. Just the way it works.

I suggested Hollister because I want to take my 4x4 Justy down there, but it needs a transmission now... Grrr... I've spent lots of time at Hollister and a little money on the aftermath. We nearly lost a Jeep to a muddy hill. It just got really expensive after Budget stopped renting the 4x4 Blazers...
