Might be buying a Genesis Coupe this weekend. Thoughts?

Actually that is incorrect. It *is* using a 4B11T but it's the world motor.

It's much weaker then the Evo 10 motor. The block is a totally different cast, uses different main bolt pattern/number, different rods, pistons, etc etc.

Are you saying if you get a stang you need a v8 or are you saying they only come v8? The stang is a v6 and you can find good deals on them. It wasn't enough for me so I had to get the Shelby. Lots of Shelby owners have the v6 one for their daily driver and Shelby for weekend driver. If you wait I believe in January they will have a v6 version that might be turbo or SC. They haven't fully let that out of the bag yet.

That looks a lot better than the other pic IMO.

In the end you only have to please yourself! If you're on the fence about what to get go test drive a few different cars or go figure out if this car you are looking at meets up at some sort of meets out there. Maybe the guy who know like 7 people who have them you can meet up with them and see what the pros and cons are. I personally don't ask anyone what they think of a car that they don't own or have not driven/ or desire to own one. It's always a mixed review mostly bad. Just like me owning a Shelby lol if they are a chevy guy/gal they are opinionated lol. Not saying all the posts here are bad or good advice at all. To each their own in my eyes and in the end make yourself happy as it's your money and desires.

I meant that who buys a V6 mustang for a sports car instead of the V8 if you want power. I know how the new V6s are equipped now-a-days so we don't need to start comparing the 2. It's neither here nor there..

Anyway, last Thursday I picked up a 87' Corolla GTS Coupe. It's a blast to drive, and it'll hold me over until the FT-86/BZR comes out.

How'd you find one so easily? I've always wanted one for a nice little fun car.

The rumored "SVO"? It's supposed to be the EcoBoost 4 cylinder model.

I think they are going to come out with a mustang with the RWD Ecoboost twin turbo 6, like the new F150's. Can we say mustang supra LOL. I am super excited to see what this car can do! The Ecoboost 4 door F150 had a 6.2 sec 0-60 Imagine what a turbo back, E85 and a tune would do!, the motor is already pumping 365 hp 420 trq(crank).

It's rumored the Shelby will have a v6 model as well but still don't know if it's SC or tt. I am waiting to see 2015 personally to see what the whole redesign is going to be. Regardless I am happy with my 2011 Shelby

I'm always stalking CL and club4ag.com for cars, so I had my eye on it even while I was looking at the Genesis. The guy I bought it from had just got a 98 OBS and needed to sell the Gts to afford some Subie upgrades. The Corolla puts a smile on my face from ear to ear. It's a great car. I can't wait to drive it's modern replacement when they come out.

I had to drive to Merced to pick it up to. Couldn't find a decent one closer to the bay.

The mustang would probably get an ecoboost inline 4 to slot below the v6. The ecoboost v6 would take sales from the v6 and v8.
