Might be buying a Genesis Coupe this weekend. Thoughts?

Yeah I'm not paying over $25k for one, they have them for just over $24k right now. And I'm going for the R-Spec which has the Brembos, LSD, sport suspension and stagard 19" wheels..

its the same motor, just need to crank it up. theres already a swap manifold to bolt on EVO 8/9 turbos and get over 300+whp with no problems.
Heres one running 359whp on a 3071, dialed down to keep it safe on a stock motor.

Yeah I say for under 25K go for it, I'd like to see some more of these on the road setup right

^^ see that's what I'm taking about.. Those cars look sexy great with a little work. And you don't see to many of them either.. I'm pretty sold on one, just need to drive one to be 100% sold, but I don't see anything that'll keep me from getting one.

But really, the warranty sounds pretty good to me, you would just have to decide which portion to void first.
Idk about this car. For one, it's a freaking Hyundai, like you mentioned, has one of the worst resale values so thinking about trading it in later ain't very wise imho. Looks-wise it's ok, but power will def be lacking, especially in the 2.0T, only 210 hp, are you kidding? There's a reason you don't ever see too many of them on the road, they never got that popular. Nobody wants a Hyundai, hell, even with all the import/tuner mags pumping them up they still didn't sell well. I remember seeing all those prelaunch articles touting the new cheap upcoming rwd sensation for the drift crowd but look what really happened-nothing special. I hardly ever see them myself. There's a reason for that 100k mile waranty, means they're not very confident any time before that. If you wanna know more about this Genesis Coup (both models), then look them up on Youtube & watch the video reviews, you'll be highly disappointed cuz they're not positive at all. Even the top of the line R Spec got bad reviews, if i was you i'd def put my money elsewhere or wait 'till the Toyoburu comes out, it's all up to you though man. Just giving my .02, coming from your girl's WRX though, i know you won't like it, you can never go back from Subaru!
