Define "Bay Area"? Are we talking just SF proper/peninsula or more like everything between Humbolt and Buttonwillow?

supposedly its 2-1 voting for CCW because by them taking our rights to protect ourselves it goes against the 2A

The reason it lost was basically because of the previous ban on open carry. Since open is banned completely and the other is to the point where you basically can't get a CCW, it then violates 2A. Had open carry not been banned, the outcome of that one might have been different, so by banning open carry it actually HELPED the CCW cause

Pretty much. Basically most major metropolitan areas. Rural areas are different, which is why I chose one where CCW is actually supported by the local sheriff.

I need to sight in my pistol but don't think I can get off work early. Tuesday night at the range is a great way to get through the week, though.

It just might be time to dust off the cobwebs on your AR. Cost of ammo has been slowly going down, recently. Wolf brass-cased .223 is hitting $0.35 per round.
