Not sure on that one now. Looking on Calguns it says it should be legal, but everyone tells me it isn't. Stupid CA gun laws

That one is an easier pass, but still LEO might still not like it. That's why I asked about that. I'd call it skirting the law in both cases even if considered legal.

I'd like to check out the hi power. What's been done?

It's a Savage 64 TR-SR (Savage Arms). How about $300 just for the gun or $400 with all the accessories that are on it (Scorpion Armaments Z58 3-9x40mm scope, Slip on Fake Supressor Silencer, and UTG Tactical OP Bipod)? But I will consider any reasonable offer. I barely have any rounds through it...It is a really nice 22, but I realized it's just not my particular brand of vodka.

I will need to look up exactly what's been done, but it got slide and trigger work. It is one of Ian's former personal guns. I am still on the fence about that one, but I can bring it out to a meet one of these weeks...if he doesn't double tap my **** first

OK moved them. The rear one is right on the charge handle, do you normally hit the rear sight when pulling the handle?

They are confusing as hell. Well they made us skirt the law with the stupid rules. OLL: buy gun exit the store and walk right back in to gun smith it to be normal. Makes no sense, but much of CA is like this

Hmm, my hand doesn't hit my rear sights whether in the up or down position, but I have Troy sights. Your sights stay up unless you have an optic and shouldn't interfere with the charging handle. If you're using a BCM charging handle, you just pull on the side that has the latch. When you have the rear sight folded down, the top of it should sit right in the half circle of the upper receiver rail. Is yours positioned like this? I dunno, maybe you need to move forward one slot?

Do you have to bring your own steel targets or do they already have them set up? I've been looking for a Bay Area steel target range ever since trying the Angeles Range down south.

Nope they have them there for pistol, rifle and even the .22 side. The .22 side has reactive targets too.

Hmm, no mention of steel targets on their website, but they're only 30 minutes from where I work. Gotta check it out one of these weeknights.
