...glad they posted a pic of a stock STI on the page. I can't wait to get pulled over again and have another argument about whether or not I should get a ticket for the wing.

I've always been pretty cool to cops that pull me over, but since having this car I've been getting harrased quite a bit so my attitude has been gradually changing. This is profiling short and sweet. Shouldn't it be illegal?

edit: just noticed the tooltip when you mouse over the STI pic...whatever

Are stats availible about these tickets under the Freedom of Info Act? If they are, I suggest to anyone with the time to look up: -how many cars are pulled over for tint in CA, -how many luxury cars (BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc...) have tint and what % have been pulled over, and -how many Japanese imports have tint and what % have been pulled over. With those stats, I'm sure it would be hard for any law enforcment agency to deny that they've been unfairly targeting people with less money (which is obviously illegal; discrimination based on income). Honestly...I've never heard of a middle aged person in a high end car get pulled over for having full tint, while I know of several Accord, Civic, and Impreza owners who have been sited more than once purely for tint.

Car Info: this required information?
I have a feel for the time being this will mostly be down south, 5 million dollars is not that much for something like this. Also do you ever think there is a reason for doing this other then stoping street racing? I mean the main tarket is asian imports, maybe they want to slow down the import market, because this will reflect on the car companies.

It's just common sense that cops are taught how to "stereo-type" types of cars and types of people. For example, someone dressed in a big puff jacket, with a beanie and pants that sag, would be deemed more of a trouble maker than others. No cop would pinpoint some person dressed in a nice pair of slacks with a dress shirt and some shiny shoes and glasses. They would look toward the more "thugly." Which in terms means our cars have and will be targeted just for looking nice on the streets.

I'm not tryin' to be gay, but the police force is going to "stereo-type/classify" our cars as modded, which is a damn horrible way to **** off customers for just driving an import.

Maybe we should sue and say that these actions taken by CA officers are discriminatory and un equal, and march and fill up sacramento until the Gov. does somethin'.

J/p, won't work. CA will be as gay as it's been, and will become gayer for having fun with your cars.
