Lol UFC threads... Diffrent views but respect eachother.. Have mature discussions.. I never have problems with you trolling or starting **** with me.. We both simply speak our minds..It's not like that with others.. Some get into business that's not theirs to begIn with and other simply start **** for no reasOn. I post 99.9 of my times on my phone.. Not the greatest and tying the cleanest but I get my point across.. I don't need to explain this to chicken, I mean who is he for me to explain myself to him? Yet he randomly starts **** all the time...

Protect our borders, language, and culture. That is the reason why we have a country in the first place. If we let others get everything for free ILLEGALLY, then I don't know how you make any laws against pot, or stealing, or anything else illegal. We're basically promoting illegalization.

The other side of the argument is... "we need to give money to these people, in order for them to get smarter, and therefore not need to steal from us and drive our economy with their education and innovation."

I completely agree with you.

What I'm more worried about is how far our state (and the nation, for that matter) will go with passing legislature that promises an increase in government revenue in order to reduce our deficit.

I will never understand why people that think illegals are welcome here think the way they do. If you want to become a legal resident then file for it, its easy and mostly free.

If you come here illegally and start trouble.

You need money to even file a petition. You might get the equivalent of a court appointed attorney but Im not even sure of that. Unless your case gets media attention or will make some sort of breakthrough, most lawyers wont touch it pro bono. In my familys situation, we were out ~100k in lawyer fees.

We decided to go with the best because we didnt want to take chances after 20 years. We had a cheap lawyer royally screw us over about 15 years ago.

The lack of education of another countries people should not be our concern.

Did not realize it was such a pita. Maybe the lawyer screwed you over and it actually doesn't cost that much?

There has to be something behind it. I mean the illegals can not even vote for them. What would motivate them to do something so unpopular.

Just briefly looking under the naturalization part there is a fee of $680 + biometrics fee. There are costs with every application you fill out. Obviously you want to be able to work here while you apply for political asylum or w/e. You gotta pay for that as well.

Our case was different because we got here in 1990. The situation back home now isnt as intense as it was back then with terrorism and what not so its now harder to prove the need to stay here even though we were legal the entire time/paying taxes and had built our lives here. Also because it took so long, I had aged out and could no longer get a green card under my parents. If you have ever dealt with the Immigration system first hand, you know what a true PITA it really is.

Now its not like that for other countries. For some its a lot easier to gain a green card without having to go through our entire ordeal. Im just saying you need money to be able to even apply. Im not against illegals coming here and working towards getting their green card but Im definitely against handing them free money because thats part of the struggle. You dont appreciate it unless you've been through it.
