no they will not receive permanent resident status they will be eligible for permanent resident status. all they have to do is swear to attempt to try and become legal to get the money, they dont even have to actually start the process of becoming legal

I was born here.. Both parents from Mex but U.S citizens now. The way I see it is if my parents did it why can't others? By that I mean do it right... Illegals are here cause we baby them! We enable them! Yet 5 de mayo you see them with all the Mexican flags on the car hoods? Wtf man? Shouldnt we have the help/support here? Not them? Sure we are all human, we all deserve to wrk and live.. But take care of your own people before you go of taking care of Mexicos peepz..
issues directly related to illegals:
Problem #1: we have no real border
Problem #2a: very many have come here as a result, produce children that share their values of remaking what's here based upon their desires
Problem #2b: any child born in America is immediately an American citizen, even if the parents are illegals
Problem #3: the Federal Government would rather have our armed forces in a foreign land for over a decade than here to ensure our border is protected
Problem #4: there is real no consequence for an illegal here, aside from deportation
Problem #5: the Federal Government does NOT enforce federal LAWS, and gets in the way of states (who bear the direct cost of illegals) from doing so

Very good point though. Although what I do spend on my car is extra monies. I make sure all expenses are covered first.

They don't qualify for Pell grants, which are solely need-based (low income grant). They do qualify for Cal Grants, which are both need and grade-based. So it's not like they're just getting free money; it is performance based.
Still, it comes out of the same fund that legal student Cal Grants come from with no increase in funding. In fact, Cal Grants are undergoing major cuts.

I got a solution for the illegals, instead of them asking for AMERICAN funds for their lives in AMERICA, why not go back to where they came from and take their families with them and ask it of their ACTUAL government?

Milk is expensive nowadays... And it's funny how the government makes it so easy for illegals to get free checking accounts, credit cards with a fake social security number, k-12 grade education, some states even let illegals obtain a drivers license with a single birth certificate and that it's (WA, OR)...
