CA dream act.
People don't like supporting "illegals" and that's cool and understandable, but not everyone chooses to be illegal. Some people come with their parents and don't have a choice because they are only children or infants. Those that actually want to do something with their life. Of course there are those that leech and it will continue to be so on both sides (legals and illegals), but what they should have done was change the conditions or terms of the act. It should have been attend and graduate from college/university or serve 2 years in military, rather than just attend college/university for 2 years to receive permanent residency.
sigh...
do NOT even get me started on the lost of meaning of illegal these days...
double sigh...

I would only support this bill if there was a stricter clause such as getting a Bachelors (still pretty easy) or higher and have to volunteer "X" number of hours every semester/quarter helping the community in some sort and/or join a ROTC type program.
In the end though this is just a political move to get votes so no matter what we suggest, it wont make a difference. Clearly we're not the crowd these politicians cater to.

English clearly isn't his first language. I dont agree with him and have a hard time understanding him at times but lets not pick on his inability to distinguish the proper times to use there, their and they're.
Come on you know just as well as i do that the first 2 years at any college is like 2 extra years of being a senior in high school. Its generic courses. I know some people choose to take harder courses but thats pretty rare. Most just want to take easy classes and go to parties.
