Calls me back and says well I feel like I should negotiate your pricing. NEGOTIATE my pricing? WTF is wrong with people.
So i laid it out simply, when you go to your favorite restaurant or even McDonalds...do you order your food only to say Mr. McDonald's I dont want to pay $0.99, how about $0.59.....its simple THEY SAY find the other $0.40 or you dont get your food.
I dont get people and why they try to beat down mechanics on pricing. And when they are "price shopping" they never and I mean never are comparing apples to apples.
I love my job!

I've also ran into the negotiation thing quite a bit. I also don't understand that.

That is very, very true. I've had so many customers over the years tell me XX's brake job is millions of dollars less. That's because the guy is quoting crap parts and a pad slap, not the actual work that needs to be done. People don't understand their cars enough to be able to make educated comparisons and a lot of the indy shops (the Shade Tree ones) will say anything to get a customer in the door.

I just dont get it, I mean I understand hard times call for drastic measures BUT don't tell me that we are a rip off when the shop down the street is going to toss on crap napa $25 pads and not resurface the rotors and or replace them...

You're mean Noah!
You should have a little more compassion on prepubescent kids who are trying to get cool points with the other kids with the tricked out Hondas!

I've probably did the something just as bad, an emo guy came into my store and held up some woman's little denim shorts and asked if he should buy them and go to a rave and have his ***** flap around. I replied you won't have to worry you about that don't have *****

keep in mind that the sti intake manifold would not just be a swap over...I'm not a 100% on this but I think even the bolt holes are different and it might not work at all. I know for a fact it would need major modifications even if it could be modded to work.
but why even do this at all? there would be literally zero to gain....even if it did work. And at what expense for that "look"? why not just paint the 2.5i stock one Red if thats what one is going for?
ahh to each's own...best of luck to the individual who decided to curse me out and hang up on me.
Other shops to try out (since I'm a F*ck as stated in conversation):
GST Motorsports
Speed Element
EQ Tuning
DB Tuned
FLI
^in no specific order
