Why hate anyone merely because of their religion? I understand that there are many people who use Christianity as means to their own selfish ends or even as a weapon to attack others, but that's a misappropriation of the faith that is not at the heart of its tenets. The same thing goes for those who misappropriate the name of Allah, Jehovah, the Buddha, and anyone else who hides behind religious rhetoric to serve their own ends. These people give a bad name to their faiths, and I hate them; but for those who follow the tenets of their faiths selflessly, that's just between them and their God(s) IMHO.

Agreed with all of the above except for the part about born-again Christians.

I don't hate anyone. I specifically don't hate people because of their religion. If religion works for you, go for it. I'd be happy to talk to you about my own beliefs but to answer your question, my personal experience is that every "born-again" I've ever known is full of sh*t. They can always get re-born again after each cycle of crap they have created in their life.
