What Ed does is takes your car to a country road and does a bunch of pulls.

I would love to run a Cobb AP but they are being lazy and have not finished the AP for JDM ecu's. I have a JDM V8 ecu to run my V7 avcs heads. So that is realy all I can do. To be honest 2 of the guys at COBB are the ones who told me to go get ECUtek becaust they said that the JDM AP will not be out for I while. Some problems with the shop they worked with to develop it or something? I know this is kinda a wierd question but are there anyother shops that you car recomend if you cant tune with the AP? I am very picky about who tunes my car and I realy only want the best. I have been bery impresed with your dyno charts so I was realy hoping that you tuned ECUtek.

thanks
Tristan

Since Cobb doesn't currently support the JDM ECU, I could tune it with OpenEcu. This is only if you don't already have an Ecutek license on it which locks the ECU. This is basically the same as Ecutek but you don't have to pay for the license. Let me know if you'd be interested.

Thanks

Well, it's all about who can reach the posted speed limit first right?

They get bored easily... and what better activity could there be than to post useless comments?

I just looked over your logs and sent you an e-mail. Looks very good. Everything is nice and safe although I think we could get a bit more torque out of it with a touch more boost.

Thanks

thanks ED

as long as you are cool with using it and think it is reliable I am down. I live in Jackson CA and I am going to put my DW 850cc's (I can leave the sti pinks in it that is easyer for you to do a breakin). So what is the best way to do this, can I do a breakin with the MAF moved? and if so sould I tow the car to you or do you make house calls I wil probly be ready for tuning at the end of next week because my injectors were sent out today and I still have to get some perrin fuel rails. do you sell any fuel rails that work with avcs heads and top feeds? if you can pm me a price on tuning and if you can get them the fuel rails.

thanks
Tristan

heres a dyno graph from my car. The tune was done while it was an automatic and it was tuned semi-conservatively. Now, I know this graph was made with a man made computer software on a road that was made to replicate the real world physics of a dyno (a dyno which magically communicates 100% acurate readings to the tuner without any computer software).

we'll see how it looks after some slight tweaking. Ed, I'll do those other logs after I change my spark plugs (should be coming in the beginning of this week)

How can I say this.... so me and ED are like oil and water....lol and we can never get along, no reason other than we both have strong opinions about things. With that said, Ed is not dishonorable person in anyway, he is not some one who will cheat any one for any thing and as hard headed as he can be, he normally does the right thing.
