Is this on pump gas?? Cos 273whp/255Tq seems awful high for a VF22.

is not that high at all.
a vf34 or vf22 is suppose to make around that horsepower.

and stock sti dynos ~215whp on Ed's dyno.

He's the man!

I guess it's hard to judge until you get it on a Mustang dyno and compare.

Great numbers though...congratulations.

Road dyno means dragging your car on the ropad. The numbers come from no dyno, just a computer.

What Ed does is takes your car to a country road and does a bunch of pulls.

I've seen one or two EJ20s with VF34 & VF22 maps and none of them make anywhere near 275whp/255TQ on pump gas....on a Mustang that is...Maybe it's a freak motor...Ed's tuned a few of those.

Hey thanks for the nice review

Its not uncommon to see 260-270whp out of a VF30/34/39. The VF22 makes just a touch more than that, so these numbers are right where I'd expect them for the setup and a healthy motor.

This is indeed road dyno software and stock STI's put down 215-220whp. The numbers have been backed up many times with drag strip results. 275whp should be good for around 107-108mph traps. But again, these are just numbers. The real important part is how the car actually performs in real conditions, not on rollers .

Thanks

Ed, let me know when I can get a tune. I emailed you, I just had my VF34, pump installed. Tomorrow I get my Pink injectors put in. I'd like to set something up in about 2 weeks or after. Thanks
