Nice job, Ed. I'm actually surprised how well the top end holds up.... peak hp at 7k rpms.

Comparing the Evo X to the STi.... it looks like the Evo sacrifices a bit of torque for a bit more top end compared to the STi.

Was it fun to drive? (I'm guessing yes )

It was quite a bit of fun to drive. Still very large and heavy feeling compared to the 9's, however.

An Aeromotive FPR wouldn't be a bad idea. You would have to get a fuel rail setup as well.

Thanks

Here's another 2.5l Bugeye build. We finished this car a while ago, but it just now came back for its final tune after break-in. This car has:

OEM EJ257 Shortblock
Stock WRX Heads w/ 5 Angle Valve Job
Cosworth 1.1mm Headgaskets
VF39
STI TMIC
DW750cc Injectors
Walbro Fuel Pump
Hallman MBC
Invidia Catless DP
Borla XR-1 CB
EQ Tuning Custom Tune

Here's the chart:

This was tuned on 91 Octane in 95F ambient temps. The customer requested a conservative tune for longevity of the engine and 5MT with over 170k miles on it! So we kept boost at 18.5psi peak and around 10.5:1 a/f. The car turned out great overall with good response, good drivability, and a good power band.

Thanks

Ed, drove the car last night after it cooled off. I'm convinced those numbers must be low. My car is a monster. No lag in spool. No hesitation. Wide powerband. Excellent throttle response.
+1 for a great investment in performance from a true pro tuner.
