Yeah, I don't have the link, but people have dynoed SRT's straight off the showroom floor at 220-225hp to the wheels. Dodge's listed 215 crank HP was way underrated. With the dyno results, they're closer to 260-270 at the crank.

Personally, I have no desire to buy or own a FWD car, but if Dodge were to produce the Razor concept (RWD platform w/ the same 2.4T engine), I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

 

find that link and get the info.........cause i'm calling a big ol BULLSH*T on that one. i need to see it to believe it. most of the time car makers put a little fluff in the HP.......but they would not let 65HP go un-noticed.....no way. someone is full of **** i think.

That's what I was interested in. Since they already have AWD, would slicks make that much of a difference?

 

first of all, if you are going to cuss in a foreign language, do it right. It's sheisskopf. anyways, i dont feel like reading the rest of this thread, so i'm going to say what i have to say. the srt is a nice looking car, there, i said it. i like them. i would like to test drive one. however, you car is almost modded to the max. you have no lsd, and a turbo thats part of the exhaust manifold. you talk about being able to have 300hp with a stage 3. blah blah. $5,000 on a wrx engine and all you'll be seeing is the faint outline of a wrx. to simplify everything, the wrx is a tuners car. the wrx is better than the sti. the sti is a great car if you don't plan on modding it. for the price difference between the wrx and sti, you can mod a wrx to destroy an sti, as well as your srt. you can classify the srt in whatever class you please, but the bottom line is that dodge designed it to compete with subaru and mitsubishi. secondly, i hope you realize that when you respond to some of these replies, you act like a 4 year old, then you come back and apologize, only to start the cycle again. reply with some maturity, there is no need to get all angry over an internet post.
Finally, im glad that you love your car so much. i really am. you bought the srt because YOU liked it, and thats all that matters. but why come over here and try to start trouble? you have a ton of fellow srt owners on your own forum that im sure are more than willing to "trash" (for lack of a better word) wrxs, and hype up their srt's. I don't have a problem with that, nor do I go to the srt forum tell them how much of a better car i have. its all opinions. if you thought the wrx was a better car, you would've purchased one. its vice versa. now, everyone, please calm down.
