Thats right, because before you're 18 its your parents body, not yours. Don't know how I forgot that one.

Here is what I foresee Yes on 4 producing:
  • more single teen mothers needing welfare
  • more people lacking a proper education
  • more back-alley abortions risking the life of the teen
  • more information to abusive parents

Hmm, makes sense to me
That scenario shows that someone didn't learn their lesson, still doesn't mean the responsibility should be deferred.

I would hope that if a time ever came for my family to deal with this, that my daughter would feel open enough to come talk to me about it and let me know what is happening, and not need the state to "make" her do it.
they have stipulations on abusive stuff

But they HAVE to be responsible when the periods stop, and 30 OTC tests later the plus still keeps showing up.

If the woman is an adult, whatever, cause that's a damn adult, they make their own decisions, but a minor... I mean, seriously, NO MINOR SHOULD BE GETTING PREGNANT! Condoms and birth control pills are available, FOR FREE, at any school's clinic or counselors office.

I dunno about sex ed where you went to school but at James Logan here in union city (i'm 25, so it's hasn't been THAT long ago) we had real deal sex ed. You got to put condoms on bananas (which the **** in the room would always show how she could put the condom in her mouth and shove the banana in there and out came the perfectly applied condom...) and we could also put them on the ******...

We got to see how babies are made, how the ***** fits in there, how it's extremely painful for the woman, how birth is like the worst pain ever. How much work it is to have a baby, how it ruins most teenagers lives cause it pretty much stops college from happening and sometimes HS itself.

It was pretty thorough. They did say abstinence is best, but we know it doesn't always work. If the girl is on the pill and the dude has jimmy wrapped, chances are damn slim. If kids today can't do that, they deserve the misery.
+1 i agree!

oh, and I'm NOT a parent. I won't be for at least a few more years. I'm not even thinking about this from the parents perspective... I hate ****ing parents enough already and the poor job they do today.

If you're a damn good parent and you're open with your kids, you won't have to worry about ****. Good parenting helps to make good kids, and good kids tend not to get knocked up or knock up people.

Above all, I just want some damn responsibility... I want teens to be responsible, cause if they aren't when they are teens, they aren't going to be as adults.

Teens make mistakes though ! Come on we all made mistakes as kids.... TOUGH lesson to learn... and have your young future ruined. Also... its only the young GIRLS life ruined... remember the guy can take off and pay some money, CAUSE IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, lets take it a step farther.. lets force them to marry... that'll teach them to have sex before they are ready ! that way they both learn their lesson huh?

I'm lost, where in this proposition does it say the doctor cannot perform the abortion? The way I read it, this allows the parents or responsible relative to be notified that it is going to be done.

Morality is morality. Those without morals don't want accountability either.

No, your morals are your morals (you as in the general you). People without your morals you deem "immoral."

And this more than likely gives the parents the ability to stop it
