I don't want abused teens to have to go to abusive parents for stuff like this. I don't want teens to do anything drastic to abort the baby...
But I don't want kids making any damn decision, they already choose poorly as it is. I voted yes, cause when you're a minor, you're a minor. You don't have rights, and if you feel you are responsible enough to have sex with captain of the football team (whos bangin' all the other cheerleaders, btw) then you should be responsible enough to have the child.
But then again, I don't want some girl beat by her abusive mother/father over this.
In this case I voted to stop teens from being able to "getout" of a responsibility over a teens ability to avoid telling her parents. Maybe more of them will realize that birth control and condoms are free and easily available, and that should be taken seriously.
Just my .02 cents.

How do they learn??? We cant teach sex ed in school remember. We only teach them how to keep it in their pants.
No, we should be compassionate and understanding while not promoting sexual immorality. We all know kids are going to have sex, but teenagers have no right to have their parents have no say. They are minors.

I wish we all could have made 100% correct choices in our life like MedicSTI did. How can we control peoples' lives to make sure they make the same 100% correct choices he did?
so stupid it should be the girls choice 100% and not anyone else's. her body, not her moms body or dads body. mistakes happen, rape happens etc. yes condoms are good but a lot of them by fact break and or leak.

But they HAVE to be responsible when the periods stop, and 30 OTC tests later the plus still keeps showing up.
If the woman is an adult, whatever, cause that's a damn adult, they make their own decisions, but a minor... I mean, seriously, NO MINOR SHOULD BE GETTING PREGNANT! Condoms and birth control pills are available, FOR FREE, at any school's clinic or counselors office.
I dunno about sex ed where you went to school but at James Logan here in union city (i'm 25, so it's hasn't been THAT long ago) we had real deal sex ed. You got to put condoms on bananas (which the **** in the room would always show how she could put the condom in her mouth and shove the banana in there and out came the perfectly applied condom...) and we could also put them on the ******...
We got to see how babies are made, how the ***** fits in there, how it's extremely painful for the woman, how birth is like the worst pain ever. How much work it is to have a baby, how it ruins most teenagers lives cause it pretty much stops college from happening and sometimes HS itself.
It was pretty thorough. They did say abstinence is best, but we know it doesn't always work. If the girl is on the pill and the dude has jimmy wrapped, chances are damn slim. If kids today can't do that, they deserve the misery.

Considering in most rape cases it is assumed "she was asking for it" or "let herself get raped" in terms of public opinion. Add an abusive father to a girl that [sarcasm]must have been asking for it and let herself get raped. Yeah, the parents should definitely be told.[/sarcasm]
And for anyone saying an abortion is a "scape goat" or an "easy way out"....come on, seriously?
The only point I agree with prop 4 on is the "Save our children" line. Save our children, don't put them in potential physical harm because of your morals and values.

So the parents should have the right to say no.... so if the parents are forcing the kids to keep the child... shouldnt they be made to take care of the child since they wanted to keep it so badly???
