Well, seeing as I worked in Ammo Section, I can attest to the shear waste of munitions.
At the time, an M16A2 round (M885?) cost about 11 pennies/each.
On average, Ft Lewis ASP disposed of 30,000/month by burning them.
Using Oaf Math: .11 X 30000 X 12 = $39,600/year of just M16A2 ammo wasted.
Then there's all the C4, Dynamite, det cord, Claymore Mines, LAWs,etc that I have no idea how much they cost.
Makes my head spin...

Got the same level of dis-service from Boxer & Feinstein.
Now you know why I get pissed when people favor tax increases...just imagine all the money being wasted throughout the government.
