Rotor upgrade to 5x114.3
ok i need some help on this one, tried to search for a thread on it but dont think it exists. i currently have a 05 sti and a 01 2dr GC8 as you all know the bolt pattern is different. the 05 sti has a 5x114.3 and the 01 GC8 has a 5x100. I would like to use my sti rims on the GC8 but i am faced with the different bolt patterns. what would i need to upgrade to make this work? i did a little brain storming and the only thing i could come up with is to upgrade all 4 rotors that have the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. <----any thoughts on this? at the moment i do not have any plans on upgrading to full 05 sti brembo brakes and rotors so that would be out of the question. thanks in advance

I believe you would not only need to change the rotors but also the hubs because they are the component that has the actual wheel studs with the 114.3 mm x 5 pattern. I don't know how complicated it is to change the hubs.

I don't think it would be worth the time and $. Here's a link to 6gun, they sell a conversion kit for 04 STI's and its $900 and I don't think that includes the rotors.

^^^yeah after looking at that it would not be cost affective to convert and I would still have to buy the rotors. I think I am better off just buying some used 04 BBS Sti rims.
Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the help!
Just so you know, I very jealous that you have an 05 STI and a 01 GC8.
BTW, did you take a look at that 6GUN ball joint extender kit? That along with the new tie rods that are still being tested will be my next mod.
Good luck
