WRX stock sized front rotor upgrade?
I'm looking for slotted front rotors to replace my stock ones. I have 15in rally rims and can't/ don't want to up size. I thought I read somewhere on I-Club that these were available. I did a search, but no luck. Must have been lost (like my account) during all the changes. Can someone enlighten me about this? I'm thinking they may have been Brembo, but their web site has nothing on it.

The stock WRX front brake setup will not clear a 15inch wheel. I know because I have tried. They will clear the 4pots if that is what you have? As for upgrading your front rotors to slotted, I know that StopTech makes stock replacement rotors for our caras that are slotted. Check it out www.stoptech.com.

Thanks, Now which brand is higher in quality, stronger, and all together better? Probably not much difference, but I thought I'd ask.
Also, 15 inch speedline 2118's fit the stock North American front brakes, sorta. I was informed that a minor amount of grinding was neccessary. After grinding and mounting. I felt like there wasn't a need to grind. Balancing weights were another issue. I've competed in 3 TSD rallys (including Press On Regardless) with no ill affects on the rims. Sheet metal damage has been a problem though.
