wagons will tend to hear "wheel slap" simply because the struts are "right there" there is no trunk to disguise it. even after i put in my sti suspension it still made the same noise(just a little louder). . . go figure. everything is fine, i even tightened everything good. i wonder if i put a STB in the back if it will still make the same noise.

Perhaps it is the RSB hitting the muffler? IF it happens when coming offa bump it makes sense. The RSB is dropping at that point and *could* be the swaybar hitting the top of the muffler.

I don't have the sound, and I have a smaller (BPM Twister Mk III) exhaust "canister" than the stock one.

Just a thought.

That is what it was with my car. I have since tied the jack down with a bungee chord and the noise is gone. But like someone else said the jack is on the drivers side so you might want to have a friend sit in the back and listen to see exactly where it is comeing from. I have heard of people haveing the swaybar hitting the exhaust like Etchylives said so you may want to look at the swaybar and exhaust to see if there are any rub marks from contact.
