I think have the dreaded STI clunk.

its gotta be the lower part though since it only started the day I put my swaybar and endlinks in im figuring.

i have a 05 wrx and i get teh clunk.

it sounds like its coming from the back, trunk area. idkkkkkk

it makes me wana cry. i get it when i shift hard.

im pretty sure i have this freckin problem also. from my rear right side. i hear it when ever im turning or shifting. not every time. but majority of the time. when i got the car it was second hand and i didnt do anything to it. just has full cat back exhaust. i also have gold plan with the dealership. the highest one. was wondering if they could repair it for me?

I have STi struts, just going to rebuild them (i.e. take apart, scoop out old grease, replace with new grase) in Spring time or when I'm prepping my car for sale.

I have an 04 STI, with cobb springs and 85k miles. Never had any clunks.

Update - I did the regrease/rebuild job, not too shabby. Struts sound good as new, AKA silent. haha, anyone else need help with this?
