clunk clunk noise?

Hey has anyone ever heard the suspension make a loud rattle or clunking noise when you turn at a higher speed like 25-30mph
I have h&r springs with stock struts. Do you think a strut went out or something cam loose.
Has anyone ever heard of stock bolts backing out

PS it sounds like the front and my ride is a little harder then before any thoughts will help thank you - Miguel

If it was a strut your ride would be bouncier. Maybe one of your springs isn't positioned correctly on the strut.

If the spring does not seat *exactly* right on the strut housing or tophat, it will clunk. Try installing some spring silencers from Whiteline.

I have almost the same problem with my coilovers. Whenever I was going slow over little bumps I would hear a loud knocking sound coming from the rear. I was told it was because of the design of the rear of the car? I just turned up the stiffness and it went away.

I have this noise as well. I'm not sure if its that the springs are not properly seated or that there is air in the struts. I don't think its the struts themselves because they are pretty new and the car is not bouncing all over the place. Anyway, I'm going to take everything apart as soon as I get a chance and try reassembling to try to get rid of the noise. Its driving me batty!
