So it sounds like they're denying the warranty. What was the problem?

Well ill try to explain in a short version. bought the car used in Apr. Only mod was a TurboXS BOV. Still had factory warranty and bought additional $2000 warranty. I bought the car from Pflug honda. The fact warr is voided cause of the BOV. they say the warranty that i bought isnt good because the factory warr is not over yet. They said the cause of engine failure is due to loss of oil.REDICULOUS! they said i can get my money money back for the warr. but im opting to just go to JAG... thats the best i can explain it.

They are telling you your warrenty is voided hoping you'll believe them I am sure they haven't even read the full warrenty I have read it and posted on here a few times that the warrenty can only be voided if the aftermarket part or modofication you performed was a direct cause of the failure. And there is no way possible that a BOV can cause a motor to loose oil pressure. They won't have a clue to what caused it until they pull the engine and start to tear it down. I'll take a wild guess and say that the #3 piston broke a ring land seen it happen on numerous suby engines. Go talk to the JAG hopefully they can help if not call around and talk to a lawyer. It sucks living Hawaii because SOA won;t help you out... Good Luck and don't let them bully you around..

Yeah!

I'm kinda mad that I was on SOH's commercial when I hear stuff like this. Good thing I didn't mention anything about the warranty or the service you get at the stealerships.

Try bouncing the rev limiter like a Honda and see how long the EJ25 or EJ20 will last.
But Loss of oil pressure could be a busted oil pump due to over speeding the motor seen that lotsa times.
