Brake Overhaul Question
Installing rotors pads and ss lines tomorrow. Anything I should know before I dive into this? I've never done this for so it'll be a learning experience.
Any advice would be helpful. TIA

It's pretty simple.
Your only challenge will be bleeding the brakes. Everything else just bolts right in.
I would recommend getting flare nut wrenches for the brake lines as normal wrenches tend to strip the nuts.
Good luck.

So I would change the rotor and pads first then put in the new lines? After that bleed them?

You might as well do the lines last.
Make sure you take the cap off the master cylinder when you change the pads. You'll have to use a clamp to force the pistons back far enough to fit over the new pads. This will push fluid back into the master cylinder and if the cap is on you'll just build up pressure.
When you're bleeding the brakes, make sure you don't let the master cylinder run dry!
Follow the bleeding sequence correctly: FR, RL, FL, RR

They should pull right off once the caliper is off.
If they're stuck, it's most likely a build up of dust. You can try hitting the area around the lugs with a hammer (lightly) to break some of it up.

Are you removing the rotors to have them resurfaced, or are you going to install new replacements? This may seem like a basic question but you did remove the calipers before trying to pull the rotors, right?
