hey all, i have had a small problem which i have narrowed down to the rear brakes.

it only hapens when braking hard, so i was wondering if the type of brake pad may be repsonsible for a waa-waa noise. it almost sounds like the pad is rubbing on 1 spot as the rotor spins. this happendd today when i went for a drive and broke hard going about 75 in 4th. after about 30 secs the noise goes away. any ideas?

this has hapened before . always when braking hard.

oo ps, today i ahd the window down and i could smell the brakes.

hope its nothing too bad.

 

most likely a pad deposit on the rotor face.

but im not surprised a little noise has you buggin out.

 

it only happens on hard braking at 55+. ya i want to fix it before i drive 9 hours to san diego.
