Suspension, Handling, and Brakes Talk about Struts/springs, coilovers, anti-swaybars, strut bars, steering, Pads, fluid, lines, rotors, calipers, boosters, and anything that is brake and suspension related.

Differences in struts/shocks between '02-'03 and later? (probably seen this before)

You all have probably seen this question before, but I can't find the answer. Is there any difference in the struts and shocks between the 02-03 and up? If so, what is the difference? Would i be able to put them on my 06?

The springs in the rear are different.

But any strut will work, also if you change to coil-overs you will not have a fitments problem.

Will the shocks for the rear work? Or will there be a fitment issue due the spring size?

I thought that all WRX's were pretty much the same in term of suspension. I think it changes with the STi's. I am not positive, so don't quote me on it. Oh... there might be a difference between wagons, too.

The spring issue is at the top of the spring not at the strut.

The top of the rear strut shaft is different for 02-03 and 04 on. If you get 02-03 struts you will need a spacer below the rear 04 strut top mount. TiC sells the spacers.
