98RS Temp Spikes!!

The car is a 98RS. 120k miles on it. When i was driving my car home tonight the heat was not working. I then noticed all of the sudden the temp gauge was all the way on HI. I stopped the car and looked under the hood. I checked all my fluid levels and everything looked ok. I started the car again and the temp was normal until i tried to give it alot of gas. Then the temp slowly rose again to HI. I dropped my friend off and ended up staying for a while at her house. When i left the car did the same thing warmed up and then when i got on the gas hard it went up. I just got home and looked at it in the garage and the coolant overflow is overflowing. Not alot but its definelty full and there is a little bit off colant near the battery and stuff.

Please i hope this is not the headgaskets. I just changed the thermostat, water pump, and timing belt replaced before winter. Could it be something wrong with the thermostat. I know i got everything installed right.

i checked the thermostat it was ok.
No leaks in the lines.
Drained the coolant and it was not cloudy and had no signs of oil.
Refilled it with water.
Drove it around for 10 min and the gauge spiked again.
Looked under the hood and the radiator was spitting all of the water into the overflow tank. Water was leaking all over the place.
What does that mean??? Why would the radiator be pushing out all of the fluid?

Maybe a blockage or something? I would take it to a shop.
