This thread is making me take a closer look at the Evo.

Sorry if my "to the point" answers are not good enough for you. If you want a buch of Bull **** you'll have to go find it somewhere else. I'm not a writer for C&D, these answers are from a real person.

Have fun with your Evo or should I say "AWD Neon" <---- Just my $.02

What do _they_ say?
Like your coworkers and/or boss. Do you have to do some explaining or are you just written off automatically as a 'ricer'?

The reason I ask is I'm sure fellow motorhead/tuner guys (and SubieGal) will be impressed, but they are in the minority outside of I-Club, NASIOC and your local motor club(s) buddies.

Also please, don't tell me a cop pulled your card just to drool over your car. OMG!!!
Thats illegal here (MD & VA) and in some areas would either result in a 'chase' (folks have warrants) or worst, a shootout. Personally, I don't want to be talking to the cops for no reason, about nothing, never.

The cops must be livin' like 'Baywatch' in your 'hood!

Why do you care what other people think of your car? They are not paying for it.

Your right people that like rally cars/ sports cars will like it. Others will think it looks Ugly.

You're taking a closer look at an Evo because you've deemed the answers from one of the first US STi owners as vague and uninformative?

I think you need to re-think your car purchasing criteria.

Just speaking my mind.

Hey, no disrespect intended. I admit that I was a little rude.

Look, he started the thread announcing to the forum that he's got the STi. Posted some pics and really said nothing about the car except "it's not a WRX."

So naturally, people are curious and asked questions. Seeing from his post numbers, he is a veteran on this forum and a WRX enthusiast. I guess I expected more from a person experienced with modding a WRX and was hoping to get better real world comments.

As for asking for more specific questions, Jang laid out a pretty comprehensive list of questions and we all see where that got him.

Again, my opinion and I apologize if I upset the very sensitive Hawaiian contingent.

First of all...in Mach5's defense, do you expect someone who is a working adult to spend all day writing up a review for peoploe to read it? I mean come on! Just because he didn't write a full-blown in depth article on the subject you get all pissy. I think Janq is fairly satisfied with the responses Mach5 gave him. If he wasn't, he would have asked again.

There is no need to worry about "upsetting the very sensitive Hawaiian contingent". We are all happier now knowing you are going to get your Evo and not lowering the rest of us with your attitude. I'm trying to be as moderator-like as possible, but sometimes stupid people make me mad...

Get a G35 coupe then. It's a super car, and everyone loves it. I think you'd be more happy with the G35.

Let someone else get the STi that doesn't care about what other people think.

Ha ha ha,

Cliff, you're alright. I think that this secret agent man is starting to get it now.

Dude, what does **** have to do with a review of an STI? Or with the efficacy of a moderator? Is the the Catholic forum? Cliff's our mod and we think he's just fine. It seems to me Alex likes him just fine, too.

If you got your feelings hurt, sorry, but grow up and go find some more **** links in our forum (well, better go ask mommy first. I don't want to be a bad influence)

I don't think this is about the STi to Agent 2.8 anymore.

It's funny - did he honestly think his critical appraisal of Dan's "job" at answering questions about his new STi was going to get him the answers that he "wanted"?

I wonder how he'll fare on the Evo board...

With that being said - what vague answers weren't to your "liking" Agent? Maybe I can help since I have seen and sat in the STi on numerous occasions...

Or wouldn't you take anything I say seriously?
