It's just fine. I think it's a little ill-tempered a slow speed. but it's not that bad!

They all think it's UGLY! And I know my dad thinks i'm crazy for speeding $30K on a Subaru.

Cabin noise is loud.

I could do a trip from my house in Oregon to my sisters house in Southen Cali no problem. it's about 10 and 1/2 hours.

Even still I'm wondering what was your impression as to build quality and new car presentation.
Reports have been that it is a might better in initial quality presentation than the EVO (to be expected). I don't have to go German to get good if not excellent build quality.

The previous gen/model WRX's are pretty good in build quality and I'm wondering how the new bodywork, nose and other bits fit to the vehcile overall. The interior is pretty much statndard faire as I understand it.

IMO it's better than an EVO, but it's not an M3

Re: Re: Re: Update

I have the Blue/Gold combo like Dan and I have run into mixed reactions. Those who have heard of and know the STi are generally impressed.

I was pulled over by a motorcycle cop on Friday. I was only doing 60 MPH and wondered if the wing or something was going to get me (Hawaii has a recon law). As it turns out he wanted to know how I liked my STi.

Wow, could the replys from Mach5WRX be any more vague and uninformative.

This thread is making me take a closer look at the Evo.

Sorry to sound like an ***, just speaking my mind.

You've got every right to, but do you know what tact and respect are? He's got every right to answer however he wants too, right?Have you ever heard 'you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar'?

Why don't you ask a more pointed, specific question then?

Just speaking my mind.

One other question; What is it that changed your mind to go for the STi instead of the G35 Coupe?

At first my wife wanted a G35 coupe. But when the time came to go buy a car she said "Let's go look at the STi again". It was really hard choose to between the two. But in the end My wife and I went with "the more rare and special car".

Plus in a few years it will make a better rally car than the G35.
