Monda/Tuesday are gonna be the best days but Wed... I'll still be riding fresh all day. Looks like Justin and I are gonna play hooky and head up.


It also looks like the big trip is going to be the weekend of the 18th. I just have to clear days with the wife and with work. Cabin is locked down. I'm trying to figure out what days I'll be up there.... aka I'll either head up Wed night and be there Thursday/Friday/Sat/Sun or head up Thursday night and be there Friday/Sat/Sun/Monday... etc.

Either way... that weekend is on lock.

And re: this Wed, like I said in my text, I'll let you know after shredding this Sunday.

 

I'm down. I'll roll up friday, possibly around midday, ride Saturday and Sunday gotta bounce around 9-10am and head back down to SJ.

 

I'm going to try and work it out to head out Wed night. Ride Thursday/Friday/Sat/Sunday. Probably drive home Monday morning and drive straight to work.

Justin's son has a baseball tourny on Sat/Sunday. He's more than likely going to be doing Thursday/Friday/Sat and heading out Sat so he can watch Sundays game.

Need to talk to Jordan but my guess is he'll do every day I do.

My co-worker is probably gonna come up for 2 of the days. Likely the weekend. My other co-worker might do 2-3 days as well.

I'm targeting Thur to shred Sierra. I have 2 freebies (valid Tue, Wed, Thur) I need to use, and my available Tue's/Wed's/Thur's over the next month are limited.

While I still have a freebie at Bear that I could use on Thur, that voucher is good Sun thru Fri. So I have more days of the week to choose from to use it.

Still waiting to hear from the body shop if my car will be done today.

 

My prediction is that Steve will be the most chipper when we wake up in 5+ hours. LOL

 

Wowzers! I don't even remember posting this. Looks like them Uc I Shutdowns got the best of me. LOL And I noticed my math skillz was off. 'Twas more like 4+ hours later.

Had a blast w/ our "makeup day" crew getting in those quality runs down to the village. I wish I had remembered to hit "Resume" on my tracking app after the 3:00 shuttle. Also, it sucks that I lost signal on those runs we took off Tuck's, so we didn't get stats for those sections.

I won't post the Session Sheet this time cuz I'm greedy and don't wanna give away so easily the intel on getting to the village. Heh heh

 

Oh, and I forgot to post this earlier....

I'm planning to ride China Peak on Sun & Mon. Anyone else with Snowbomb freebies wanna join in for all or part of the trip?

For now, I'm rolling solo. So my plan is...
SATURDAY (tomorrow): Head down to stay at my relatives in Hanford (less than an hr south of Fresno) tomorrow night.
SUNDAY: Head up Sunday morning to shred, and then stay in Shaver Lake (a room w/ 2 double beds can be had for $115+taxes/fees).
MONDAY: Put in a 2nd day on the slopes, then head back to the Bay.

Although I've never been to China Peak, I do know that it's a small resort (just a bit larger than Boreal). So back-to-back days shouldn't tire you out too much if you're worried about that!

If someone wants in, I can adjust the Sat/Sun part a bit. Lemme know.

 

If anyone wants to roll down today/tonite, I got extra space in my suite at the Inn at China Peak. Plus, you can take one of the free tix that come w/ the room! Call it $80 for room & lift ticket.

Waking up to a few inches of fresh! Should be nice for putting in another day of $Free.99 shredding!
