My fallback before was photobucket, FU guys for ruining embedded photos all over the internet, should have thought about that before offering a free ****ing service!

Yeah, I ended up signing into the Googz to check out the pix. I'd call that more than a dusting. Looks more like a decent layer of frosting, eh?
I heard the upper mountains got about 3-4". Not bad.

Plan is to get a few heads together on Sat night to watch it and also go over my friends other footage... and of course enjoying it over some cold brews!

What do we need to do to get more snow?
Went to Sierra on the 23rd, Northstar on the 24th, and Kirkwood on the 25th..
Sierra was barren and everybody was getting funneled through the corkscrew which always makes for a dangerous situation. Northstar looked like they were making snow and the backside was partially open (at least the burnout and lower burnout was open) - albeit, quite busy with all the families. Kirkwood was an icy mess even though most of the mountain was open, don't believe they actually make snow unlike Northstar, or Heavenly but the grooming was decent (icy runs sapped my confidence).

I haven't even bothered. Not worth it... and it's nearly free for me.
I'm planning on riding hard in a few weeks. It's bound to explode at some point.

At least my Sierra Season pass will be put to good use for the buddy passes, hopefully the GF picks up snowboarding after a few more sessions - lol.
My buddies and I said fuq-it, going to Whistler March 1 -> March 5 and will be doing 3 days of boarding. Looks like we'll only be getting pitty-patty snow in Tahoe for January.

Planning to head up Thrusday to South Lake and ride Heavenly on Friday. Will probably not ride on Sat & just come back to avoid MLK wknd crowds. Anyone who I ride with hit me up!

Got a full day in at Heavenly yesterday, warm out with no wind made for a pretty nice day up there. Never got warm enough to slow my board down though. Stacked 22 runs in (all groomers) then an hour before I left wiped out doing some switch riding onto my tailbone. That **** was one of the worst ones I had, already developed into a purple/black bruise. Gonna be feeling this for a few more days.
Nice that you were able to get your 1st day in. Sux that you took the spill. Tailbone boo boos are no bueno.
I'm hoping to knock out my 1st day in a couple weeks. Probably just a warmup day at Boring Hill.
And I'm so outta shape... been lazy.
But a week of the flu over the holidays combined with such meager snowfall since the start of the season didn't help with motivation either.
I hope to get dialed in by Super Sunday.
Crossing my fingers that we'll FINALLY get some consistent precip over the next 2 months. The lack of open terrain is pretty bad for MLK wknd. Looking a lot like our recent drought years before our last year's record season.
