A raffle is always good and we've had good luck with that in the past... Also, the car show and competition was a great success, only reason it didn't happen last year was because of the crazy time constraints and we couldn't pull it off.

Lets see if we can get the jousting thing to happen again... or maybe oversized boxing. If we do jousting, Jeremy (krinkov) will HAVE to be compensated for his efforts and $$, no matter what he says or as much as he denies it. He's too nice for his own good.

But yeah, simple fun and classic type of events always go over the best.

What would be REALLY cool and I've been toying with it for a while now is to get a kareoke machine out there! I'd rock it!

I was thinking that the boxing/jousting would be a hit... Not too sure about kareoke... maybe if the volume was really really low.

it looks too small and that's a lot of houses close by, other than that i think it is a sick set up.

Too small? are you ****ing kidding me? I counted some 450 spaces if not more... lots more... and plus there is another lot down the road with another 500 spaces. And this would be a good spot because there is a nice grassy area (Not sure what the building is) and with the lake and all it would be a lot cooler. as opposed to Hamilton.

we'd want the lower parking lot only, next to those two BBQ Pavillions (which we'd be renting)... That lower lot has nearly 400 parking spots alone.

No need. I've looked into this site for 2 years now, called and talked to the regional park office. It's definitely a good site.
