We [the FFBN KR3W] brought our own BBQ and chilled in the EQ Booth and it worked out sick. We bought our own food and brought our stuff.

We will be bbqing our own again this year. I recommend that as the way Hammy 8 should go down. Otherwise someone has to take the reigns Brucey is handing off and has a high potential for failure.

The planner should focus on events, not food.

^ yeah, and people should share the work, and not depend on 1 BBQ.

yeah events and bringing yourself and car are the top 2.

planning food is like planning on having Jeeves come wipe your *** after taking a crap at the meet. just deal with it, we arent 5 years old waiting for the milk cart in Kindergarten lol

Haha, yea, finally! It'll feel weird (and good) to know that you can just hang out and be lazy at the meet for once with no obligations other than show up, Daniel.

I kinda wanted to get some kinda of catering company to do the food and make it so that there is one central source of food and there aren't seperate goups of people grouped around individual grills....

But, It seems that no one cares about the food...

What would be possible events to have at Mount Hamilton 2008?

I mean what do you guys want?

a band?
contests?

I wanted to look into Astro Jump because we could get a jousting ring, a boxing ring, and a dunk tank from them... don't you guys want to dunk some people?

Keep in mind we are talking about Mount Hamilton 2008... not Mt. Hammy 8... The previous 7 meets were not me... this one will be mine and it will be different.

... the Mt. Hammy Meet is the BAIC's meet last I checked though. I don't mean to kick you off of your soap box or anything, but just letting you know.

You can organize Mt. Hammy if you'd like, but remember what it is.

A Raffle for performance parts, service & other suby stuff is always a good idea.

That's a good start, since Hammy is ALWAYS hot.
