ATTN: BAIC Vendors, Feeler for Mount Hamilton 2008

This is for the Vendors...

Who wants to be at the Mount Hamilton 2008 meet?

Let me know if you are interested.

I need to know which vendors want to come and are willing to throw down some cash. I still need to talk to the park and a few catering companies and maybe Astro Jump before I can put together any kind of admission prices.

Vendors so far:

i-Club (Charles)
dbtuned (Paul)
EQ Tuning (Ed)
Detail Addict (?)

Going to attempt to get it done Jourdan?

BBQ > Catering. You can have i-club members cook too, and offer then a waived entrance fee or 50% entrance fee.

Catered BBQ > slaving all day for nothing

It can probably be done for roughly the same amount as was being charged before.

I kinda want to get some kind of catering... Possibly Armadillo *****'s or Togo's or both... I am a pretty lazy guy... I am willing to throw down some cash to get some other people to make the food for us...

I am considering it... This is just a Feeler... don't get too excited. and if I do take it on... It's going to be "Mount Hamilton 2008"... (not Hammy, I want to do this right)

I'll be happy to help sponsor the event as I have in the previous years, but I'd like a more concrete plan of what the event will consist of. I don't think any of the sponsors were too happy with last years event in terms of what was put together for the relatively high sponsor fees.

This sounds like a great idea! I believe the i-club staff had been more involved in the event in the past.

ive never understood the concept of pitching in...why cant we all just bring our own food?
Even bringing our own meat to BBQ would be cool.

Otherwise its gonna be $10 a head and yeah, you never get what you pay for, been there done that.

Astro jumps are hella money arent they? like more than food would be!

I really dont think anyone on here (except brucie, gagan, myself, and a few others) really have ANY idea of what it costs to put this on.

IF ppl bring their own meat, whos is in charge of the grill, and how would you control how the timeline is?

just a couple thoughts.

i just assumed they had grills at that park. i'd bring my own grill, and if people want to wait in line to use it then cool.

I can imagine its expen$ive, thats what im trying to avoid you know me

i know people that didnt go last year all because there was a $10 fee. and if im gonna waste my gas going up a Mtn, it better be 3 AM on a weeknight haha
