Why are you trying so hard to portray Pit Bulls as innocent victims of their circumstances when the breed is responsible for far more attacks than any other? Yes, Pits that are trained to fight or abused are far more likely to be agressive, but if you take any well-behaved Pit and compare it to a well-behaved dog of any other breed, the Pit is more likely to attack someone/something without provocation. That's is what Pit Bulls were created to do- attack. It IS absolutely in the nature of the breed, becuase that's how breeders made it. Stop acting like the stigma that pit bulls are vicious is unwarranted. It is overblown, but it is not something that everybody else just made up out of spite or something. I would say that at worst, maybe 10% of Pit Bulls are inclined to someday be aggressive to a person or animal that they shouldn't be, but that's enough for me to say that I would never own one or trust one around my children or pets. I don't care how many times you tell me that yours is a pansy and has never hurt a fly.
