New Max. performance tire
Here in SoCal us A/X-STI drivers have found with the extra torque of the 2.5 ltr a taller tire works great for quick times. The current tire of choice (by most) is the Azenis 615 in the 245-45-17 size, fits both the 7.5 and 8.0 in rims. Personally I'd like to see a 255-45-17 for AX use.

I just got a set of these in 235/40-17 as a 'gift'.....and have tried like hell to find out where to buy them.....and it would seem that they are not easily available in the 48 states

I would get a set for everyday in 235/45/17 if I did not have to go to Japan to get them.
Discount tire in El Monte carries Federal but I have not seen the 595's there
