Car Info: 2015 FXT Stage II
For the power folks i did a bit of playing around in Virtual Dyno and wanted to see the gains from Torqued Performance Stage 2 with Cobb SF intake, Stage 3 + AEM, and finally EQ's E85 tune. Now the settings in VD are pretty much set so I didn't really play around with anything but entering the info for the car and my weight. Based on just my E85 plot it's apparent that i lost a bit of power/tq due to the stock catback and my de-tuned map running 16psi peak because my stock clutch couldn't handle 405wtq for very long. It's really nice to see that a free flowing 3 inch cat back really makes a difference. I couldn't find one of the last Cobb SF pulls i had so i just used one i randomly found which was pretty old. The AEM pull is pretty recent, about two weeks before my E85 tune with EQ. Apologies for not all the pulls going the same distance but like i said i used what i had.

These are just virtual dynos so take them with a grain of salt but it's nice to see some type of graph that comes from each stage and from 91 to E85.

Keep in mind on the actual dyno before EQ Tuning changed his calibration to read higher for 2013+ the tunes made considerably less power on the low reading dyno.

Torqued Performance Stage 3 with AEM intake made 264HP/277TQ
EQ Tunings 91 tune made 292WHP/317WTQ at 17psi (My 91 tune is SUPER conservative. No emphasis on power was requested)
EQ Tunings E85 tune made 350WHP/405WTQ with a slipping clutch so we detuned it to 350WHP/350WTQ-ish

Also to be perfectly honest i've been doing a lot of thinking about catbacks and such. I don't mind the loss in power off the stock catback for daily driving duties. I'm thinking i might just go all out and get the best free flowing exhaust for our cars and run it in the summer and change to the stock catback whenver im tired of noise or winter. The best free flowing exhaust would be the Invidia N1 or Greddy Ti-C. I've always been against fart cannon/melon shooters because they often struck me as ricer exhausts but seeing dyno runs and datalogs from many users/tuners around the states have shown they really do benefit from being straight through. I'll hate having the extra hole on the other side of the rear diffuser but if the gain is worth it i won't mind much especially since i'll have another catback as a back up. I think i may just put some bigger tips on the stocker and call it a day with it, honestly it's peaceful to drive with it and still be quick. Odd, now i find cars that are loud and slow annoying.

Thanks! Slow but surely the exterior bits are coming.

I forgot to say that next week if time allows I should be completing my retrofit for my headlights with better projectors. Just waiting on the adhesive to come in for resealing the headlights to make sure i don't get any condensation.

My best friends and I were able to get away from our hectic schedules and meet up for a nice twisty drive, something we haven't been able to do for a couple months. It was a blast and i remember why i love driving so much. None of us are pro photographers so don't judge.

and the winner.

IS-F has a K&N intake, JOE-Z exhaust, Zeal Function coilovers, and some Wald things .

S2000 CR is FI.

So I just hit what seems to be an invisible pothole and it totally popped my driver side front and rear tires! I'm pretty screwed sitting here on the street with the car sitting on the rims basically waiting for a flatbed. Can I please borrow someone's 5x100 spare so I can limp the car from my garage once its towed there to the tire shop Monday or Tuesday. I shouldn't need the spare longer then Wednesday. Will compensate if needed!

So the car sat in my driveway for a couple days till I could figure out what I was going to do. I was originally just going to buy a new set of rubber for my stock wheels, knowing I was going to buy rims eventually I just decided to hold off and see what was available to me quickly.

I ended up with some 18x9.5 +35 with 265's all around. Pics soon.

Got an alignment but on my driver side front wheel I could not get it back into spec so I'm keeping a close eye on that area. Car drives great though feels way different with wider wheels and tires that's for sure. Oh and for suspension curious people I'm dropped on Epic Engineering springs paired with stock struts. Lowers the car a decent amount nothing ridiculous.
