As you can see not much. I didn't go EWG because after riding around with friends I was rather annoyed with it. I still have the gate but Ed told me I don't need it for my goals right now. I'm keeping it in case I do eventually want more power or go big turbo and need a better way to control boost. Don't expect the same numbers as me though Ed said my car is a higher HP car for stage 2+. For some reason it just made power very easy. You could have a weaker motor or stronger motor who knows, luck of the draw when buying a car. Usually stage 2 cars are around 280ish/300ish on his dyno. For reference my stage 3 from Torqued Performance put out 265/277 on his dyno. I encourage anyone that is getting tuned to get a leak down/compression test, it's worth knowing if your motor is safe to try and make more power especially if you were tuned with any kind of OTS map before.

I wanted a conservative tune on 91 no emphasis on power and 17psi with a rich a/f to be safe. I was only expecting to make like 265whp to be honest. Ed gave me the best advice when I was trying to make a certain number on 91 based on another 2011 he tuned.

" The 265whp tune was pretty conservative. 280whp is starting to get on the aggressive side, although every car is a bit different. If yours makes the 280whp easily with a conservative tune, no problem. But if you do want to stay extra safe and your car is not necessarily one of the higher hp cars out there, I would recommend not worrying about peak numbers too much. The key to a conservative tune is to not push the engine to any specific number but rather take what it gives you while keeping all the parameters within a safe range."

Did you have any hesitation issues when with upgraded injectors?

Ah. No i've had zero issues with the tune and injectors since they were installed. Then only thing I noticed is when it's cold it takes a second longer to crank and start up but other then that car hasn't threw a CEL or anything yet. Running smooth as butter.

Thanks!

Cool. I tuned with Ed last month with tbe, dw65c, and hallman planning on making the switch to e85 with tmic, inlet, and cai. Any reason why u went with ID injectors and not DW?

ID's are a favorite with many reputable tuners. I've heard a few horror stories with DW's which is why I decided to spring for "the best" Ed also advised me against DW based on his experience with them since I was buying new.

Damn nice numbers bro! The TP map made decent power being base and no revisions. Lol.

Yeah I was pretty surprised too decent numbers for pump and e85. I had about 400 logs with my stage 2 set up from TP and like 200 from my stage 3. Car was running decent for a OTS. I definitely recommend a pro-tune though the difference is mind blowing, especially when you drive your car everyday.

Eventually I'll get the same one Paul has most likely, Milltek since it's quiet and has a good tone at WOT when you want it. I'm looking for a stock catback for a hatch right now though so I can at least get the Q300 off my car and shine it up for the new owner. I don't think a catback effects the tune at all but emailed Ed for safety.

Anyone subscribed sell me your stock cat back! I'll even do $500 + stock catback in good condition or straight swap for a SPT.

Did you ever get around to doing the konis+donor struts? I wanna do the same but don't have experience with suspension stuff.

I have looked into the koni stuff a bit more in detail and the install/labor is not really something I'd feel comfortable doing myself. I'm planning on doing this set up after Christmas though. My clutch needs replacing first since it slips now. However after talking with zergling who is local to us and getting his feedback I'm 100% sure I'm going this route with 08-10 WRX struts because they lower the car a tad bit compared to our stock struts. I can't say this is the best set up for the track though, based on xluben's posts on nasioc if you really plan to track a lot you should just go for a good coilover option. I don't plan to see the track with this car very much, maybe once or twice a year.
