My crew showed a lot of interest in helping out to help a brotha out, and also just to see the 6mt up close being installed.
bump for whenever you need help with that tranny!

That 04 will slide right in, and you can reuse those new wrx axles you picked up a while back if you use new seals and stubs for the front diff (100 ish from subaru). Your rear is a 3.54 so you'll need the r180, rear axles and driveshaft. You can reuse your flywheel clutch and slave if they're new with the sti clutch fork, otherwise use the sti parts only.
Great to know. Thanks for the info. It answered my next ten questions haha. Additionally, I know dccd comes into play at done point. Is it just wiring and a rotary switch?

Lastly, the new legacy gt has a 6mt. I know this will be pull vs push so some sort of conversion may be needed, but is the 6mt in the new legacy compatible or even the same as the sti 6mt?
from what the subaru techs told me, the 2010 LGT 2.5 trans is a sti one

thats awesome. If and wen i beat the cancer, when it's time for a new car, I will definitely look into the LGT. I liked them anyways. they are 265 hp i think.. does that mean they have the ej257 with wrx turbo mated to the 6mt?

Dude they're nice! I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could. But yeah I think they have a VF40(which is the current model WRX turbo) Though I could be mistaken since LGT's usually have different turbos then WRX. At least the JDM models...

Should have a full 6mt swap by his weekend; trans, diff, hubs, axles, brembo brakes, etc.
Did this happen?
