There are a few factors about your setup which will determine the price for your job.

Thumbs up

Update:
It's new years day. I'm fortunate enough to report a very happy ending thus far to a crappy story. I have good friends, my daughter is 7.5 months old, has 4 teeth, is starting to walk, and dances every time she hears music. She is amazing. My son is 8 and growing too fast. He asked if I'm going to give him my car when he is 16 2010 was the toughest most expensive year of my life. Thanks for all of the support. I know I'm not the only person who had troubles. Warm wishes go out to the LIC family as thy have a youngster with a bad liver and will be getting a transplant from daddy soon. What a hero!! M specific updates below for the people who asked. Thanks again for supporting me. This community is one of a kind.

1. Broken transmission
Status: all paid off. Rockin the 2009 gears in the 2002 case. No sure how it all fits together but it shifts and feels great. The ratios keep me in power band after shifts. Thanks to Paul@DB for the flexibility with payments and for getting the car on the road in time for BAM. Paul didnt know me or have any reason to trust me but he did and I made sure to honor our arrangement and pay on time.

2.Melanoma
Status: what an expensive mess that was. Great news!! I'm not dead! The stress and expense did take a huge toll but I was still able to pull off a decent Christmas for my family.

3. body work on car due to autostart malfunction.
Status: Jared (bug-I) had mercy on my poor car and is letting me rock his c-west grille until he sells it, which makes the damage look minimal. It looks like cosmetic paint only at this point so thank you Jared.

4. custody hearing
status: Long story short, I won. Big win for my family unit. My son stays with me and can now continue receiving the love, structure, and discipline he needs to continue the growth into a great young man. I showed up in court with what the judge said was a well thought out. Well written clear and concise deposition. The judge was awesome and took away all of my fears with her No bs fair approach. It gave me much more faith in the local legal system.

Cheers to a better 2011 and thanks to all of you who showed support to me. (especially my vallejo def sik family) It's humbling to Get pm's from people I dont even know and have never met, asking me how things are and if I need anything. I am a lucky man to have great friends, an amazing fiancé who I hope to marry this year, and a job which is rewarding. Without them, I really don't think I would have made it through 2010, a serious and scary statement for me to say but it's true. Love you guys.

Oh yeah haha. Forgot. What clutch/flywheel are you running?
Do you have anything else like short throw? Shift bushings? Upgraded tranny mount?

I'm on same clutch and mount but I have gruppe-s flywheel. I had the common decel noise for 15k miles but it's gone now.

How many miles are on the flywheel? After 15k it should fade. The group n mount also adds to the noise. I think the firmer mount causes the vibration to distribute differently and ampliies the noise from inside the case.
