Nice ride last night, you guys. I really liked riding up and over all those big rocks

Wanted to ask you a question - I'm sort of having second thoughts on the Tahoe Gathering, and I think I'd rather get up there with you guys and ride. Do you guys want to pick a weekend before you all get way busy at work and stay overnight so we can hit flume, toads, etc?

Let me know - we'll be able to find lodging without an issue. We could go up on 7/7 but not sure how busy it will be up there following July 4 (even though most people don't get Thurs/Fri off). I'm busy 7/14 and we already know 7/20 sucks for most people. We could also do August or something..

I'd say we go in August. September would be better for the weather, but I'll be working 24/7 the first two weeks when we do our load transfer from the old UPS to the new one.

 

I'm reluctant to really plan anything for September because I'm back in school at that point and don't yet know what the semester is going to be like.

I like the idea of going in August, and for now, my calendar is clear with the exception of one weekend(not sure yet depending on plans for wife's bday). I'll start trying to plan my stuff with her and her friends to know better which weekends that month work for me.

Does August work for you guys - Lance, Randy?

 

Looks like the weekend I won't be able to ride in August will be the weekend starting Friday the 24th. Other than that I'm free.

7/7 - Wedding & UFC @ ARCO

7/27 thru 7/29 - Portland, OR

8/4 - Wife Weekend?

8/10 thru 8/12 - Santa Barbara?

So I'm free (as far as I can tell) between 7/7 and 7/27, and then again after 8/19. I still want to go down to Mammoth with you guys so don't forget about that.

 

I just checked with the boss and she says the whole month of August is open. The last weekend of July we are working a trade show and a lot of Sept. is also tied up.

I would much rather ride with you guys than with people I don't know and some of which I may not like given past MTBR post.

 

I can take off a weekday or two during that last week of August (after 8/19). Maybe we could ride tues/wed or something?

 

During the week is fine with me.

 

With pics like those found in this thread, I am getting majorly excited about tomorrows ride. I'm gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight :\
