Tire Removal Tips - YouTube
dakkar pit crew in that second vid! haha, i tired to do this without the proper tools (no bead breaker and only one shorty tire spoon + a mini crowbar... 4 hours damnit...)

will get you more pics, no waste of time for me since she's good to go for a year now, will post more info this eve - gotta wash her up this weekend anyway, been super busy this week.

cliffnotes: it's a 2009 DRZ-S 400cc single, stock motor, 47xx on the odo (but speedo cable was removed ~1k miles ago with the supermoto kit conversion)
mods include: bark busters, ONE grips, DRC edge smoke LED tail light and plate bracket, LED rear blinkers (front is all OE), FMF Powerbomb stainless header and Two Bros. DRZ-E Off road pipe (have box w/sliencer etc, about 1k on it, very loud when full open), and Warp9 Supermoto 3" front 4.5" rear spoked SM wheels + aluminum +2 rear sprocket, spare OE front sprocket and a -1 front (still holds freeway speeds w/o going full throttle), kept the continental SM tires (maybe 2k miles left on them) and recently new dual sport tires (iirc Kenda 244's), has case guards from thumpertalk, maybe some other things I'm forgetting...

spare parts - have OE EGR system, fresh oil & filters (its ready for a change), air filter cleaner + oil, new O-Ring chain in box (current is about 1/2life?), a few other things as well...

Figured I could post in the classifieds, but you'd be the guys who'd know...

I'm looking for some things:

MX bike stand / maintenance stand

DRZ E or S model OE dirt/dual sport wheels or a compatible wheel that's smaller...
(the OE wheels are F/21" and R/18" and that's way too tall for me - I think the Warp9 SM 17" wheels are tall enough...)

looks like I may keep the DRZ for a little while longer anyway, we'll see I suppose

The stand your looking for, I'm guessing a foot pump type?
couple different types, depends if you want to lift it manually, pump it up by foot, or ride up on it.

@sig

cheap. haha... I bought a foot pump type from harbor freight back home for ~25? works great, basically does the job, makes oil changes and chain work easy; thats what's due for my bike anyway, plus a good wash. I'm looking to dual sport ride sometime, so i figured i'd keep on the lookout. so many things piling up for me anyway right now, this is just a wishlist

I had to go with kawasaki because I already have a lot of green, white, and black gear to match my DH bike.

When's this Kahuku day proposed?

and, would post this in classifieds, but it's a 2 wheel item - after wrecking parts at peacock flats a few weeks ago, I'm looking for parts for my DRZ

-7/8ths handlebars, i bent mine, will take any set of straight bars
-Bark Busters, destroyed mine lol

figured before I place an order online, I'll ask around; I think the rest of the parts i bent/broke are all repairable one way or another, but those two I'm better off replacing..

I've been dying to go lately, but every weekend there has been something going on. IE) road rally on sunday.
At any rate, gotta get out there soon, how's Saturday 2/25 ? That work for you? Chad? I got 3 people coming out with me that day, and 3 bikes as well. If you want to throw your bike in one of the trucks, let me know, can see about possibly doing that.

anyhow, Chad, Tesh, let me know if that works!

Great action shots, spinplay and sig!

Spinlay, have you tried riding a trials bike? I've seen some wicked riding from bicyclist that looks a lot like the same skill sets for riding trials. My buddy picked up another trials bike and I'd like to get into it too.

tesh, I might have some cyrca bark busters laying around.
