Picked this up a couple of months ago. No time to ride, though, and the weather sucks anyway. Gotta be sunny when I ride, I'm a real baby about riding in the rain.

Thats a beauty Ross - feel ya on the rain though, i'm a fair-weather rider myself, don't care to get wet, i'd rather ride in good weather (which is why all my 2wheelers are garaged right now..)

oh, DRZ will be up for sale soon, just need to redo safety/reg this week - next owner will be getting a steal of a deal, i just have no room in my parking spot anymore lol

Is there an image that I don't see? At any rate, I'll be setting up another Kahuku ride soon. Slipping and sliding this time of the year, but still a blast.

Tesh, I might have a 250R if you wanna try that out?

hadn't posted a pic yet, but here's one from my albums - i'll get it all together and washed up for photos soon, I'll actually be looking to pickup a proper dirtbike after selling this one (a 150-250 sounds about right). at least slipping and sliding wont be so bad with a proper bike, 400's a bit big for me (not the power so much as the height)

nice!
Let me know if you want to try out the CRF 250R this next go around.

Cheryl picked up a CRF 150R, so now she can touch the ground!

for sure man! would love to get out in the dirt again too - glad she got one! those 150's are plenty powerful and nimble, agility>power when hitting those trails too imo. I just need something to tow on soon and I'll be set haha

Ah man. I'm going to flake on selling the SMC. It's far more maintenance friendly vs the EXC. The EXC isn't as daily rider friendly (50mile round trip commute) as I was expecting.

Nice color scheme, Ross!

Tesh, is the ad up for your DRZ yet? My brother inlaw might be interested.

Didn't pull the trigger on alpina wheels. As sexy as the carbon matrix is, $3000 on wheels alone during the holidays is bad timing. Picked up a set of behrs and wrapped them with pilot powers. Also picked up MT16's for the dirt wheels. The EXC is still work in progress. Don't mind the loose chain. Slapped on the wheels before work in the morning and was running out of time.

Also, I don't know what possessed me to believe I can handle the 530 in the trails, but I'm going to pick up a smaller KTM 2 smoker so I don't kill myself.

well you made it one of a kind for sure now that you got the wheels. looks good, keep going!

a 530 on trails will beat you to death! Gotta have superhuman strength to do that all day.
Ok well, i'll show my age, it'll kick my **** for sure.

Thats a great looking set of wheels Goku - I haven't posted the DRZ up yet, just took care of safety and reg this morning, ~150 paid out and she's good for a year, going to clean it up tonight/tmw to get it ready for pics for posting. If you're interested, I'll get it ready so you can take a look at it

Thanks, but it's actually all factory. The bike is a 2008 Special Edition - luckily for me, the previous owner spent a lot of time and peeled off huge pieces of chrome stickers, that made a significant difference in the bike's look. I've had people ask me where I got the wheels painted, who ano'd the fork tubes, but the look is all Kawasaki, minus some tacky chrome.

Nice bike Ross, finally got home and looked at it, guess work blocked the site hosting the picture.

Hope to see you out there! Ride safe.

Howzit Tesh. Nah, just information and more pics for now. It's my brother in-law who is interested. Steering him into the sumo world. Don't wanna waste your time if he's not serious about your bike.

Mahalo!
