Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

If that's true, then Shiv's stage 0 is adding 30+ hp at the wheels. Check the link. And 170 to the wheels seems to be the universally accepted figure. SCC got 177 after like 35,000 miles on premium and 100+ mile an hour cruising, and ~167 after resetting the ecu.

Potentiall, yeah, you can fry it but that's any motor. Lately a lot of people have gotten very good at it. Look into Ludespeed, AVO (RalliTek), Forced Air Tech, PlanetSubaru.com, and others. you can make 250+ hp reliably.
