You can only put 5-6psi safely without good tuning. That shop has mastered it. If you didn't already, look at the dyno chart on that link- it's almost identical to the stock curve, just MUCH higher. Higher CR is a good thing if you tune to its strengths instead of fighting it.

MSRP is more like 24-26. But it doesn't matter, every dealer everywhere pays the same invoice price. If we can do it, your dealer can do it. Just print out a few ads from websites, like www.greenvalleysubaru.com, and keep hunting. Then call your dealer of choice and ask for a fleet or internet sales rep. Piece of cake. Just don't buy their warranty/paint shield/undercoating package.

Depends heavily on your location, how you park/garage the car, etc.

Vishnu stage 0, costs $995 and gets you to about 225 at the wheels. In that post I said "WRX plus another grand..." No offense taken, I call 'em as I see 'em too. And I wouldn't discourage anyone from doing an RS-T. That's my plan. But, it is definitely a pain in the *** compared to buying a WRX instead and costs more as a rule.

Naw, the stage 0 is only about 195 to the wheels, on Vishnu's dyno.

Okay, you were closer. And the price is now $1200. But, considering Green Valley Subaru has multiple WRXs on the lot with prices under $22k on the windows, it's still cheaper and more reliable than an RS-T. Not that it's gonna stop me from tryin' it.
