MSRP is more like 24-26. But it doesn't matter, every dealer everywhere pays the same invoice price. If we can do it, your dealer can do it. Just print out a few ads from websites, like www.greenvalleysubaru.com, and keep hunting. Then call your dealer of choice and ask for a fleet or internet sales rep. Piece of cake. Just don't buy their warranty/paint shield/undercoating package.

the downside to a WRX is higher insurance costs, higher fuel costs (especially now) and higher risk of theft compared to an RS.
A turbo RS will suffer the premium gas prices also, if you tell your ins. about the mods, you will pay more, if you do not and have theft/total the car - you will have issues with the the mods and your ins. company (you may have to rip off your mods and replace them with stock parts within a few days - or lose them).
I only bring this up because I'm currently going through insurance co. write-off hell (I only did a few simple mods).

Okay, you were closer. And the price is now $1200. But, considering Green Valley Subaru has multiple WRXs on the lot with prices under $22k on the windows, it's still cheaper and more reliable than an RS-T. Not that it's gonna stop me from tryin' it.
