I'm also new to the subaru platform. I personally have a 2001 Chevy s10 ZR2 that I tinker with (and may do an LS1 swap on) but now my fiance' is getting jealous being that my truck is faster than her impreza (we've both always wanted a WRX but insurance rates prevent that, and the car is already ours so we're sticking with the 2.5rs)

ok, here we go. We have a 2002 Impreza 2.5rs that is bone stock. I'm trying to plan a few little upgrades to get some extra juice out of her but I need to know what works, what doesnt, and what's the best order to procede in. My engine code is EJ25-1AX3AB, the trany is code T21A4ZCCAA, and yes, it is unfortunately an auto. she bought this car before I was around.

So far I've read the bashing on the cold air intakes, I dont really understand why people dont think they're a good idea, but if it's something to discredit, let me know. The only thing I can think of at this point besides a turbo kit (which is beyond my curent means) would be an ignition system. so help me out here. Thanks.

 

2002 and newer are the slowest of the imprezas, because of the large weight difference between pre 2002 2002+ since its an automatic that hinders it even more, intakes dont hurt ****, get an intake, header, cat-back,UD pulley, then she'll be able to romp you, hell she already should if your zr2 is stock, well, if it was a manual anyway

 

what is an actual site that you can find things like the heads and underdrive pullys everything always says wrx or rs before 2000?
