Car Info: 2003 WRX Silver Wagon
Question To upgrade or not to upgrade?

I just bought my WRX about a month ago, I recently finished the break in period, and I'm loving my new car.

I am getting really tempted to start upgrading my car, but some of my friends say that I should wait 6 months. They say I should get used to the car and it's feel before I start upgrading stuff, and that I'll appreciate the upgrades more by doing this.

This makes sense, but at the same time, I can't help but wonder if there are certain upgrades which are sort-of must haves. I have a 2003 WRX wagon and my current spending limit is roughly $500. What do you guys think?

I would wait another month then start with some gauges if you don't already have one. Or if it is power you want first, buy a up pipe for 200 bucks. Personally the car sits too high up for, springs were my first mod. I can get you a good deal on eibach's if your interested.
