got the weaponr intake and a new pioneer head unit installed today. weaponr was a pain with the ait sensor. does anybody have it on yet? did you use the T fitting they supplied? they said something about not using the port closest to the maf. i used that port anyways..is there a difference?
ill update on how it feels after i drive around some more. and my tein basics are finally going to get here by tuesday.
oh man, i love this intake. i can feel the gain especially after 3k rpm. its not a big gain but it feels quicker. the sound is what i like the best. its a low growling sound that starts when you hit a little under 3k rpm, it sounds awesome.
ill put up pics for everything once i get my suspension in.

I highly doubt it, I read somewhere the 06's actually come with equal length headers as it is. But what i do know for sure is things are deffently deffernt the oil filter on my 05 was easier to get to then my 06 because of the headers.

i think some of them might fit.. like the one rallitek has that fits all imprezas 98-06. but there is no point of doing it. i was thinking about getting new headers but realized since we already have equal length headers, there is no point in getting another one, as gains will be close to none. the only reason why you would get new ones is if you want more of the boxer rumble that the unequal headers give you.. and like j-chow said it causes you to lose HP.
on a side note, i got my front coilovers in. working on the rear later today. by the time i took out my seats to detach the rear stock suspensions it was 11pm already.. it took me a good 2 hours just getting some of the bolts off.. i wish i had an impact gun.

j-chow paint them gold =D check out rotas too pretty nice rims for an ok price. im debating between rotas or the esxmotorsports rims. you should check them out.
the 06 does come with equal length headers so i doubt you would want to change it with 05 headers. unless your increasing diameter of the pipe. otherwise there is no point.
btw vinzie what kind of coilovers did you get? cause im saving up right now and i think the coilovers are gonna be what i get right after my intake.

So I got a buddy from Nasioc who made this photoshop of how i'm gonna paint my stock rims and I've decided to go with gunmetal.
It was either this:

or

But I'm leaning towards gunmetal.

j-chow, gunmetal. hands down.
I got some tein basics coilovers. I just finished installing last night, and I'm loving them so far. The look good, the ride is still pretty soft, and its handling a lot better. It feels lighter, like I can dart around from corner to corner. I'll put up pics when I get back from work today. How do you guys post pics here?
But I decided to go with Basics because they were cheap and people have said that the ride quality doesn't suffer too much from it. Gruppe-s sells them from 850 shipped, and anybody else is pretty much willing to price match. If you haggle some more I wouldn't be suprised if you got them for 800 shipped. Another option around that price are the Megans Racing Street. Megans can adjust dampening and if you are DIY, it's easier to install because it comes with tophats, whereas the basics you have to pull the tophat from stock. If you want to spend some more helix dna coilover is about 1k, or the teins super street. That's pretty much all I looked into because the other ones that've people have raved about, I can't afford.
