boost leak?
so, just got home from gruppe-s...tried to tune, but my car wont boost over 14 psi. so far mods are:
vf34
sti injectors
walbro
gruppe-s headers
perrin turbo inlet
turbo xs fmic and intake
and other basics
I have a feeling that it might be the bypass valve that came with the fmic kit. Does anyone know good of quality that is? Anyone have a way to "more easily" find leaks? When I get to higher RPM and higher boost, it kinda sounds like a whistle as if the bypass valve is leaking so i dont know what to do. I already have all 6 washers in there. Thanks

i think that may be the problem. I may have to clean it. How do i do that? it is the bypass valve included with the turbo xs fmic kit.
what ever kind of oil you have laying around
maybe motor oil im not 100% sure call them up and ask they might tell you something specific.
i mean a few drops should do the trick

i dont konw i called turbo xs and the guy seemed to refuse that there could have been something wrong with the bypass valve. I told him a few others have had the same problem i have, and he insisted that it was due to install error. and he said hes sure it isnt the bypass valve and it is that the pipes must not have been installed right. so that wasnt much help, but he said def dont lube up the bypass valve.
